Design Observer, together with AIGA and Designers & Books, have released the 50 best books and 50 best book covers from 2012.
Running since 1924, the competition is open to the best current work in book and book cover design. This time around, a 35 person advisory board, comprising of top names in design and writing from around the world, have produced a masterful list of 50 books and 50 book covers.
There’s a real eclectic mix of book cover designs, showcasing many a design discipline from photography to typography. Congratulations to all those winners who will be added to an archive stretching back nearly 90 years.
