Map illustrator extraordinaire, Jenni Sparks, has done it again, this time in Paris.
Top hand-letterer. designer, map maker and all round good girl, Jenni Sparks, has done some really great stuff again for Paris client BHV. Sparks draw a map of an area of Paris which was made into lots of lovely promotional items for the BHV shop. What we love most though, is the map was turned into a giant floor covering, which is very cool indeed.
Here’s what Sparks had to say on the project: “I was commissioned by Rosapark and BHV store to create a promotional map of Le Marais area of Paris. The store is a prominent part of Le Marais and the client wanted to reflect it’s standing within that area, the creative and historical culture, as well as highlighting some other local businesses. I had the great opportunity to visit the area while researching and the map was placed on promotional materials as well as being transformed into an art exhibition in the department store by Philippe Blondez.”
